Come along and join us with local business owner and He Waka Tapu support worker Rana Kohunui as we teach the basics if soap making and hear about some wellbeing tips from Rana around learning new skills and building self confidence.

Give it a Go - Paddock to Plate healthy lunchboxes with Jasmine Aitken and Marise from Plunkett
Come along and learn from your local Jasmine Aitken about how to create healthy, nutritious, affordable and exciting lunchbox fillers for all ages.
Jasmine uses what she grows to create inspiring food that not only young kids love but adults too will enjoy. Jasmine is a qualified chef and has a background in horticulture so is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with others.
Marise from Plunkett is then going to talk about wellbeing for bubs around nutrition and more so these two ladies will tie in with each other perfectly.

Connecting with others, moving our bodies and being outdoors improves our wellbeing. Everyone is welcome and walks are around Methven for 30-40 minutes suitable for all abilities.

Give it Go - Harakeke Weaving
Register for FREE and join us to learn the basics of weaving with your local Hakatere Marae Chair and St John kaimahi Michelle Brett.
All materials supplied and everyone gets to take home your own creations.
60 minutes of crafting followed by 30 minutes of wellbeing focused kōrero lead by Michelle.

METHVEN Kai Connections Community Food Stand
Neighbours Day Aotearoa 2022 is all about Kai Connections. Wellbeing Ōpuke invites you to come along to our community food stand to give, receive or swap any food.
If you're a whizz at preserves or chutneys bring your jars along and we'll give you some sweet stickers to label them.
Any food items gratefully received: veggie garden surplus, preserves, jams, chutneys, baked goods, and more. This is all about connection no matter how big or small.

Grab a coffee, tea, and sweet treat and join us for some light-hearted conversation and social connection.
This is an opportunity to meet someone new, learn something new, share something about yourself and enjoy some wellbeing time.

Also a chance to get to know the Staveley area for those new to the district.
